The Gravity Group, LLC was founded in 2002 by a group of veteran wooden roller coaster designers who were passionate about bringing wooden coaster technology to the next century.
The team of engineers at The Gravity Group has more experience designing wooden roller coasters than any other company in existence today. As a result, the designs that The Gravity Group produces are consistently the highest-rated wooden rides within the industry.The group focuses on doing business with integrity and establishing solid professional relationships with parks and suppliers.

Korey Kiepert, PE
Engineer and PrincipalKorey Kiepert got his start in the amusement industry in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. Korey is one of the founding members of the The Gravity Group, LLC.
Chad Miller, PE
Engineer and PrincipalChad Miller began his roller coaster career in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. Chad is one of the founding members of the The Gravity Group, LLC.
Michael Graham
Engineer and PrincipalMichael Graham entered the amusement industry in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron. Michael is one of the founding members of the The Gravity Group, LLC.
Lawrence Bill
Engineer and PrincipalLarry Bill has been involved in over 60 wooden roller coaster designs in nine countries since his start in the amusement industry in the late 1980s. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Larry is one of the founding members of the The Gravity Group, LLC.
Brian Kosmac, PE
EngineerBrian has been involved in the amusement industry since 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is a registered Professional Engineer. Brian has been part of the engineering team at The Gravity Group, LLC since 2013.
Jonathan Wocher, PE
EngineerJonathan entered the amusement industry in 2010 with an internship at The Gravity Group. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and continued full-time as part of the engineering team at The Gravity Group, LLC in 2013.
Anthony Pennington
Engineering SupportAnthony Pennington has been working in the amusement industry since the early 1990s. He has years of experience in drafting and programming. Anthony has been part of the engineering and creative team at The Gravity Group, LLC since 2007.
Hunter Lawrence
EngineerHunter graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2018 with a degree in civil engineering and a minor in architecture. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she spent two summers proudly operating the Phantom’s Revenge at Kennywood. After gaining experience with wooden roller coasters in her first professional role, she joined The Gravity Group in September 2020. With a long-term affection for wooden coasters and their history, she is thrilled to continue working towards their preservation.
Brian Ruff
Production ManagerBrian has been involved in the amusement industry since January 2023 when he joined The Gravity Group, as a Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati. With extensive experience in project management and a strong background in field engineering and scheduling, Brian’s expertise and leadership are valuable assets to the engineering team at The Gravity Group.
Brian Lamm
Technology Solutions Engineer
Brian joined The Gravity Group in March 2024, bringing over 20 years of diverse experience in IT and electro-mechanical repair. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from Northern Kentucky University and a Certification in Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technology from Diamond Oaks Career Center. With extensive expertise in application support, security operations, and media freelance work, Brian’s deep knowledge and technical skills make him a key asset to our engineering team.
Cameron Peters
Quality Manager / ProgrammerCameron has been part of the engineering team at The Gravity Group since August 2023. He brings over 20 years of experience in quality management and CNC programming to the team. Cameron has a background in adult education for CNC programming and studied Machine Trades at Colerain High School.
