Who-hoo! (that’s not Chinese) 01 May 09 - Posted by Mike
The first wooden roller coaster in China has now had its first runs and first riders! Congratulations to the teams at The Gravity Group and Martin & Vleminckx for this spectacular work of art.
Chad said, “Rode it. awesome. smooth. WAY FUN!” He went on saying it was fantastic with tons of airtime particularly on the never ending second hill. That was certainly one of the highlights.
Larry commented on its smoothness and the construction crew’s attention to detail. The smile on his face should hopefully last his 20 hour trip back home – or at least longer than the battery on the new Macbook Pro. (Unfortunately, our CAD programs don’t run on a Mac.)
For those bean counters out there, in the back seat there are at least 19 spots of airtime. Yummy!
Congrats! I won’t be able to get to China to ride it, but it sounds like a solid coaster. I’ll bet you guys are sick of making that long trip by now…
It’s funny you should say that…I just bought a ticket for my next trip over there…
Awesome!
Waiting till I can get to ride on it. When is the park opening?
PS, this site is blocked in China, as you probably know. Tell your provider to change ip for the server…
Lawrence, we checked into it, and they say there’s nothing they can do
