As a big man who fit into the PTC’s, though not by much, I’m not optimistic about the Timberliner cars.
My problem is my belly. These restraints remind me of the restraints on the S&S Power swings. I don’t fit. Mostly because they have a seat belt on the end of the “arm” that I can’t fasten, which the Timberliner trains DON’T have. I’m just wondering if the restraint is gonna “cover” enough of my gut to secure me in the car.
I guess I’ll find out if I go to Holiwood Nights again this year. Of course, I could just keep losing weight and not have to worry about it!
Love your work! Keep it up!
I was wondering the same thing. While I’m not a larger guy, just that first picture has me concerned. I don’t think most of the larger-sized GP would like having only half of their torso secured in by a lap bar
I’m sure the team at TGG have spent countless hours into the ergonomics and safety of the trains, but still, sometimes simple things can be overlooked…
