The Hot Seat 11 Mar 10 - Posted by Korey
Ever since our sister company Gravitykraft announced putting Timberliner trains on The Voyage at Holiday World last November, we have been working feverishly to make it happen. Mike Graham has been heading up efforts at Gravity Group / Gravitykraft world headquarters. Work involves countless hours behind the computer drawing, analyzing, and planning.
In order to bring the industry the best wooden coaster trains, we have teamed up with many of the best suppliers. Everyone is pressing on for the goal. And Holiday World’s website has a nice countdown clock that shows us just how many days, hours, and seconds there are until the faithful public hops aboard for their maiden Voyage in Timberliners.
Today was one of those feel-good days when you get to see the fruits of your labor. Mike was visiting the folks at the Ralph S. Albert Company. They are the industry leader for ride padding. He visited their facility to inspect the pads for our Timberliners. It was a thrill for him to finally lay eyes on our cushy new foam seats.
He sent us some really neat photos. Here are two photos showing the seat back and seat bottom fresh from being molded. I just checked the Holiday World website and there are only 50 days until you can have a seat and enjoy the ride in some comfy new Timberliners!
