Twister at Gröna Lund and Wooden Warrior at Quassy Amusement Park launched into the coaster rankings at #14 and #18 respectively.  According to the 2011 Internet Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster Poll, often considered the most comprehensive coaster yearly evaluation, these two rides were compared head-to-head against every wooden roller coaster in the world, and they leaped into the top 20.  Our Zippin Pippin design at Bay Beach Amusement also ranked very highly at #38 of the 165 wooden coasters, above rides such as the venerable Beast at Kings Island.

Sometimes people think that it takes a bigger or faster coaster to be the best.  With Wooden Warrior’s height of only 35 ft (11m) and Twister’s of 51ft (16m) coupled with the acrobatic Timberliner trains, only Gravity Group rides can provide a top tier experience with height or space limitations.  Congrats to all the winners!
