This year of coaster construction updates has officially begun! First off the blocks is the construction at the wonderful ride at Quassy Amusement Park. It’s great to be on this journey with Quassy in the creation of this lasting transformation of their park. Seeing physical evidence of this construction is great to see and gets us even more excited for the ride and the park.

Here are the first construction photos of the yet-unnamed Quassy wooden roller coaster. The first photos shows Eric Anderson, a co-owner of the park, as king of the mountain of wood.

Of course the wood needs to be held together.  How about some bolts?  Eric, now the inspector, investigates one of them.

The Nuts & Bolts Of It All – Thousands of nuts and bolts are in storage, ready for construction of the new wooden roller coaster at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, Conn.
