A Glögg post: a Swedish Merry Christmas and Other Antics 23 Dec 10 - Posted by Mike
If you have been following us on Facebook, you might know that we have set up our holiday Gravitree. After many guesses, we finally reveal that this is not your average conifer color. The Gravitree is certainly its own species. With its black boughs and orange tree topper, it fits right in at our eclectic office. Complete with roller coaster parts and utilizing Timberliner Name Plate Use #5, the ornaments create a cornucopia of colors and textures.
So what kind of presents go under this Gravitree? Apples in honor of Newton? Toys made of pressure treated lumber? How about Golden Ticket Awards? Here are the record-setting seven Golden Ticket awards we have received over the years.
Not all trees are so fortunate. In this case Chad’s tree was degraded by the Gravitree project manager, Michelle, and dubbed Chadley Brown’s Christmas tree. Maybe some children will come by and give it some holiday cheer.

In the holiday season and in honor of our new ride, Twister at Gröna Lund in Sweden, Korey thought we should celebrate in the Swedish style. Recently, he brought back some Swedish treats (no Swedish fish) including Glögg, a cozy spiced fruit drink that is served warm. Whether the Swedes really celebrate Christmas like this, we will never know, but for now I guess we’ll just believe Korey.
So from all of us at The Gravity Group and Gravitykraft, we wish you Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and may your 2011 be outstanding and full of Gravity powered roller coasters.
